We received an email from our agency indicating that the CCAA was concerned about the spread of swine flu from North America and wished adoptive families to not travel. They are automatically extending travel approval periods by 2 months. That's all I know for now. So, we're waiting once again for a green light to move ahead.
We appreciate so much all of your support, feedback and love during this time. We find peace in giving Wyatt back to God and in realizing He's big enough to meet Wyatt's needs with or without us. The timing thing is hard to understand as we and you have prayed all along that God's timing would be worked out, but having prayed that, we must trust in His answer. Someday we'll know the answer to the timing question whether here or above, but I'm hoping that in the end, the timing question won't seem very important.
Last night, we had a sleepover at Grandma's and as I listened to the relaxed, joyful giggling fits coming from the girls bedroom, I marveled at the life we now live together and God's provision so far in our journey. To hear my super-serious baby, Anna, and my ultra-fearful baby, Abbie, belly laughing for minutes on end brought great comfort and hope. We rejoice in finishing another year in homeschooling and really rejoice in Kaylyn's successful finishing of her first year in college! Yay Kaylyn - way to go girl!
