AAAAGGGGHHHHH! We have to be on a flight by Wed and we're supposed to get him on Thursday night when we get to our hotel. After much complicated flight searching by our travel agent, we have finally arrived at a flight. Continental from Richmond to New Jersey to Shanghai to Fuzhou, Fujian Province. We'll be in Fuzhou for 1 week, then fly go Gaungzhou, Guangdong Province for the medical and immigration appointments.
You may be wondering what we're feeling....excited, loopy, exhausted, nervous, happy. We are amazed at God's timing and provision as Mike had calls today lining up some more excavating jobs for when we return. Costs have gone up for adoption as it has for everything else, so we feel like we're hanging on to a wild ride there as needs come up and God provides.
We're wondering what Wyatt will think of his non-Asian looking, funny sounding new Mommy and Daddy who actually look kind of old. Will he understand any of this? Will he sleep the first night? How will he adjust to his new family? Will Abbie and Anna do okay back here in the States for 2 weeks without us being around? With all these questions, I turn and look again at our Creator and Provider God and know He's enough. Nothing will surprise Him and He can handle anything that comes along. Through Him we are equipped and ready and able....and we're ready to get this show on the road!

So excited for you guys. Can't wait to see him in your arms or at least him giggling as he gets you to chase him around... he is a boy after all! Let us know if there is anything we can do.
Kim - we just got home from vacation and are thrilled with your news. Things do and will fall into place and we can't wait for Wyatt to be with his forever family.
